Assassins Creed Shadows: All paths, hidden trails locations
Hidden trails are special obstacle courses designed for Naoe in AC Shadows. You will be rewarded with XP, knowledge point and gear. On this page of the guide you will find a list of all the paths available in the game.
There are 10 obstacle courses scattered across the AC Shadows map dedicated for Naoe. They will test your dexterity and ability to move. Crossing them will reward you with XP, knowledge points, and rare items. Below we present the location of each hidden trail.

What do you get for completing a hidden trail?
Completing a trail is not too difficult. Follow the yellow paint, climbing and using the hook along the way in the appropriate places. For reaching the end, you will receive the following rewards:
- 1000 experience points;
- 1 point of knowledge;
- A chest with special equipment.
#1 Path of Valor
Related map marker: Path of Valor - Izumi Settsu @ Japan
You will find the path in the western part of the region, northeast of Amagasaki Castle. As a reward, you will get a headgear for Naoe (Tamakichi's Hood).
#2 Path of the Brave
Related map marker: Path of the Brave - Yamashiro @ Japan
This activity is located in the south-western part of the region. In the chest at the end of the challenge, you will find light armor (Hibiki's Gear).
#3 Path of Peril
Related map marker: Path of Peril - Harima @ Japan
You will find it in the far part of the region, near the border of the map. The prize is an epic kusarigama (Toxic Kusarigama of Malice).
#4 Path of the Blade
Related map marker: Path of the Blade - Omi @ Japan
This Path is located on the eastern shore of a large lake, near a small river. The prize is a light armor for Naoe (Sumire's Gear).
#5 Path of Silence
Related map marker: Path of Silence - Tamba @ Japan
You will find it in the central part of the region, south of the Kumoryuji Temple Ruins viewpoint. In the chest at the end of the trail you will get a special hood (Hibiki's Hood).
#6 Path of Shadows
Related map marker: Path of Shadows - Iga @ Japan
Southern part of the Iga region. As a reward for completing the course, you will receive light armor (Yu-no-shin's Gear).
#7 Path of Secrets
Related map marker: Path of Secrets - Yamato @ Japan
You will find it on the border of the Yamato and Izumi Settsu regions. In the chest, you will find a special headgear (Sumire's Hood).
#8 Path of Serenity
Related map marker: Path of Serenity - Yamato @ Japan
This Path is located in the southern part of the Yamato region. The prize is a rare tanto (Crimson Tanto of Harm).
#9 Path of the Chosen
Related map marker: Path of the Chosen - Kii @ Japan
You will find it at the southeast border of the map in the Kii region. At the end of the path, you will get a headgear for Naoe (Yu-no-shin's Hood).
#10 Path of Wisdom
Related map marker: Path of Wisdom - Wakasa @ Japan
The farthest north Hidden Path - you will find it in the Wakasa region, near the river. The prize is a special, light armor (Tamakichi's gear).
