A game on the borderline of isometric RPG action and slash with elements of the strategy. In Undead Horde we play the necromancer, who tries to subjugate the whole fantastic land, leading to the battle of the title hordes of several dozen enemies.
Undead Horde is a hack'n'slash enriched with elements of strategy. The title was developed by the independent studio 10tons - authors of such games as Neon Chrome.
Undead Horde takes us on a journey to a fantasy world. During the game we play as a necromancer - a representative of the profession cursed by ordinary mortals. In order to take revenge, the protagonist leads an army of the undead into battle, with the help of which he tries to subjugate the whole land.
In Undead Horde, the action is shown in isometric view. The adventure leads us through a variety of locations - from sun-burnt deserts to dense forests. Although we only control the main character directly during the game, the hero is constantly followed by a horde of up to a hundred living corpses, who him in real-time battles, attacking his chosen targets. Among the dozen or so types of units that we create by resurrecting fallen adversaries or pulling the dead out of graves, we will find archers and bloodthirsty scorpions.
The game includes a character progression system. The combat potential of the necromancer and his armies is increased by gaining new levels of experience and acquiring procedurally generated elements of equipment such as weapons or magic items; unnecessary equipment can be disposed of by selling it to one of the merchants.
Undead Horde features colorful three-dimensional visuals in the "low poly" style - its individual elements are based on a small number of clearly visible polygons.

Undead Horde is an action RPG blended into an Overlord/Pikmin-style management game where your horde of resurrected enemies deal the bulk of your damage and have to be continually replaced with freshly-fallen foes as they suffer a final death. The gameplay difficulty, then, arises from poor party configurations that lead to your numbers being overrun faster than they can finish off enemies, ensuring that your numbers continually thin until you’re all alone against a group of enemies.
