Release Date: October 20, 2015
Another installment in the popular Overlord series, launched in 2007 by Triumph Software. The new game, this time developed by the Codemasters company, abandons the third-person perspective in favor of an isometric view, a distinctive feature of the hack-and-slash genre. Furthermore, the game now features four heroes instead of one, including: warrior, necromancer, dwarf, and dark elf.
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil for PC is the next installment of the Overlord series, which started back in 2007. Unlike the previous productions made by the Triumph studio, this time we can play not as just one, but four different dark lords; the basic mechanics have also changed, as the title is no longer a TPP action game – it has been designed as an RPG, where we experience the action with a camera located above the field of battle.
In Overlord: Fellowship of Evil we, once again, step into the shoes of an antihero , who this time operates from the nether world. It is our main ambition to unleash monstrous evil, forcing the world of the living to fall to their knees, and making us its dark master; the game offers four different candidates for this prestigious title – Inferna, the brutal warrior, Malady, the necromancer, Hakon, the dwarf, and Cryos, the dark elf. Each of the heroes has their own unique abilities which they can use in a hassle, we are also aided by the minions during our playthrough; the minions have several different classes – the green ones poison enemies, the red ones use explosives, while the blue ones are focused on defending our character. The gameplay revolves around travelling through the world, fighting enemies and solving various puzzles. The campaign can be beaten in single player mode; however, the title features a co-op mode for up to four players, playing via the internet or LAN.
The scriptwriter Rhianna Pratchett, known from productions such as Mirror’s Edge, Heavenly Sword or Tomb Raider, has been actively involved in the creation of the game.

Game Ratings for Overlord: Fellowship of Evil Video Game.
PlayStation LifeStyle: 3.5 / 10 by Jowi Meli
It's bad enough that Overlord: Fellowship of Evil waters down the more substantial gameplay of its predecessors in favor of a generic action-RPG model, but that's actually the least of the game's problems. Technical problems make the framerate and collision detection bigger obstacles than the traps and enemies, and the level design reduces everything to the lowest common denominator. It never gets old hearing the witty dialogue penned by Rhianna Pratchett, and the score is suitably epic and whimsical, but those are two bright spots in an otherwise dreary mess.
PlayStation Universe: 2 / 10 by John-Paul Jones
A train-wreck spin off of a series that deserved so much better, Fellowship of Evil is an unholy combination of so many undercooked elements that it's any wonder the game made it to release. While Overlord certainly deserves better there is someone else who does too – you. Avoid.
COGconnected: 42 / 100 by John Elliott
Slow loading areas, frame rates dropping and gameplay becoming sluggish when you summon a batch of minions added to the lackluster experience.
