Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Brushes with Death is the first of three story expansions for the RPG game titled Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, released in February 2025. All add-ons were planned by the Warhorse Studios team before the release of the base version of their game.

Story and new features in the add-on

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Brushes with Death introduces a new storyline, related to a painter known as Master Voyta. Henry can meet him almost at the very beginning of his adventure. The mission assigned to us by the artist is to assist him in finding inspiration, thanks to which he will be able to create the work of his life, becoming one of the most outstanding painters of his generation.

Additionally, a new shield painting mechanic was prepared for the expansion. Thanks to cooperation with Voyta, Henry is learning to decorate shields with various patterns, leaving us free rein in of color, framing, and the symbol located in the middle.

Elements that can appear on our shields are unlocked by completing story objectives, visiting specific places, and getting to know selected characters. Players who have already met the requirements of individual symbols automatically gain access to the rewards associated with them.
