Dolphin Spirit: Ocean Mission is an educational adventure game themed around ecology. It was developed by Magic Pockets, also known for several licensed games and the Petz games.

Plot

Dolphin Spirit: Ocean Mission is set on the tropical island of Maupiroa. Our protagonist has come here on vacation and soon learns of a great danger threatening the island, deciding to stop it. She's aided by the island's inhabitants, her grandfather and the friendly dolphin Keanu. On her adventure, the protagonist learns Maupiroa's secrets, folklore and the legacy of her ancestors.

Mechanics

Dolphin Spirit: Ocean Mission is a third-person game. The player traverses the island, talks to its inhabitants and completes quests. We must also discover the secrets of Maupiroa, the most important of which are magical totems. Thanks to her bond with the dolphin Keanu, the protagonist can also discover the underwater world around the island. Taking photos of the environment and wildlife plays a big part too; our photos slowly fill out our codex.
