Gatewalkers is an indie production by A2 Softworks, the biggest project of these developers so far. In the game, we learn the story of the title Gatewalkers, who can move between different realms. We will play one of them and perform tasks assigned by the Guild. The plot itself, however, is not the most important thing here. The crux of the game is exploration of randomly-generated lands, which are quite distinct. And so, hosts of enemies aren't the only danger – the hazardous environments, toxic, or freezing, for example, also will have to be taken into .

The game has been prepared with cooperative mode in mind (for up to four people), so in order to survive in unfavorable circumstances, cooperation of players during each expedition and proper assignment of tasks will be of great importance. Characters will not be limited by the typical classes known from RPGs, so we will have a lot of freedom in creating our own hero. If you'd like to check out Gatewalkers, that the game's free open beta will be launched on Steam on February 3.
