Karatom is an inventor living in the Gestrals village. When you meet him for the first time, he will ask you for help in constructing a new version of the Ultimate Sakapatate. Where is Karatom?
WARNING! This mission is time-limited. To complete it, you have to perform it before the end of the first act, which ends with a boss fight against the Lampmaster.
After entering the Gestrals Village, turn left and go through the bazaar full of merchants. Right past it, you will find a "workshop" full of parts, and among them Karatom himself - a short Gestral with a blue-violet color.
Talk to Karatom. During the conversation, he will reveal to you his plans to build another Ultimate Sakapatate. He will also ask you to find blue mushrooms, which will serve as material for producing explosives. The inventor will suggest that you should look for them in the flooded cave.
Where to find blue mushrooms?
Blue mushrooms grow near the village, in Esquie's Nest. You will have to go to this story-related location anyway.
Enter the location and go through the tunnel. Once you reach the stone bridge, jump off the right edge. On the edge of a shallow reservoir, you will find glowing mushrooms that you can pick up. Take them with you.
After collecting the mushrooms, you can climb back up to the bridge and return to Gestrals Village.
How to fight Karatom's Ultimate Sakapatate?
Return to the Gestrals Village and give the mushrooms to Karatom. The satisfied inventor will ask Gustave to fight the completed Sakapatate.
The fight with Karatom's Ultimate Sakapatate somewhat resembles the fight with the earlier model encountered in the main story. However, it is much more difficult. The new Sakapatate has enhanced attacks, is exceptionally durable, and attacks several times per turn. Additionally, you must that only Gustave is fighting the boss.
Prepare well for the fight by spending all skill and attribute points. Also prepare your healing skills - you will need them. Sakapatate's attacks are quite easy to predict, making them easy to sense their rhythm.
If you fail to defeat Karatom's Sakapatate, you can try again. Simply talk to the inventor. that you have to do this before the end of the first act.
What do you get for completing the quest?
After defeating Karatom's Ultimate Sakapatate you will receive:
- 3x Polished Chroma Catalyst;
- 1x Recoat;
- Outfit for Gustave (Clean).
After the fight, the mission will end.
