Turok 3 Remaster Announced; Debut on PC
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered, a revamped version of the classic FPS, was announced at gamescom 2023.

Nightdive, studio specializing in revamping old hits, revealed at gamescom that the next project it will give a facelift to will be Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion.
- Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is a refreshed version of the third installment of the popular FPS series, originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64.
- The remaster is heading to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
- The release will take place on November 14, this year.
- The PC version will be sold on Steam.
- The game will offer numerous improvements, including anti-aliasing, bloom and ambient occlusion effects, dynamic shadows or motion blur.
- We will also get more detailed environmental elements and character and weapon models.
It is worth recalling that earlier Nightdive prepared Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered, which are refreshed versions of the first two installments of the series. Both projects were warmly received - they have 95% and 93% positive reviews on Steam.
The development of a remaster of the third game is all the more important because, unlike the two previous installments Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion was released exclusively on the Nintendo 64. The refreshed version developed by Nightdive will therefore be the game's debut on PC.
