The Witcher 3 composer might be back for Netflix series
There's reason to believe that the Netflix Witcher series may feature soundtrack composed by Mikolai Stroinski, co-composer of The Witcher 3 music.
Mikolai Stroinski, co-composer of the amazing soundtrack from announced last month. This isn’t confirmed news, but Stroinski bragged about his visit at Netflix, Inc. in Los Angeles on Facebook, saying: “It’s cool here” (thanks, PCGamesN!). We imagine he didn’t just pay a courtesy call.
If that turns out to be true then the Witcher series might have more from CD Projekt RED’s games than we expected. Music plays essential role in building any film or game’s atmosphere – here’s a free sample of Stroinski’s Witcher 3 music on SoundCloud. For now, we haven’t heard anything about Percival Shuttenbach (the Polish folk metal band that greatly contributed to The Witcher 3’s soundtrack) visiting Netflix, but we’re looking forward to hearing that.
Note also that one episode in each season will be directed by Tomasz Baginski, the producer of most of The Witcher trilogy CGI animations. And don’t forget that the very creator of that universe, Andrzej Sapkowski, will serve as a creative consultant.
