The first photo from The Last of Us TV series from HBO has been released. It was published by Neil Druckmann, creative director of the games and one of the producers of the TV adaptation. The photo shows the backs of Ellie (played by Bella Ramsey) and Joel (played by Pedro Pascal), so it's hard to say how close the actors' looks will be to the character designs from Naughty Dog's gane. However, the photo does seem to recreate the brand's vibe well and thus bodes well for the adaptation.
For now, it is not known when the series will debut on HBO. The shooting has already started, but it is planned to be finished only in June next year, so it is possible that we will wait for the premiere even until 2023.
