Oblivion in Skyrim in Spectacular Trailer; Skyblivion Release Date
The TES Renewal Group has released a trailer revealing the release date - specifically the year - of the Skyblivion mod, recreating The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion using Skyrim technology. Who else is waiting?
When in 2014 we wrote about the announcement of the mod Skyblivion - recreating Skyrim - we stated that we will have to wait several years for the final result. Yesterday, the TES Renewal Group, responsible for the project, released a trailer revealing the date - a year to be exact - of the modification's release.
Thus, we learned that Skyblivion will debut in 2025, which is not a few, but about 11 years after the initial announcement. You can watch the aforementioned trailer below.
At the beginning of the news I posed the question whether anyone is still waiting for Skyblivion. First of all, it was meant as a reference to the still distant release, as the question itself is obviously rhetorical. Suffice it to say that within 16 hours of publication, the above trailer was viewed more than half a million times, and the number of views continues to grow.
Although one can complain about the pace of TES Renewal's work, the unrelenting "cult" of Skyrim seems to be working in the developers' favor. In addition, their work will most likely be released long before The Elder Scrolls VI, whose release date - even an approximate one - is vague even in Todd Howard's mind.

For the record, let me just add that Skyblivion is heading exclusively for PC and will be a fully free modification. To run it, however, it will be necessary to have both Skyrim - Special Edition - as well as Oblivion along with all DLCs.
