Is PoE 2 Free to Play

As we can learn from the Steam page, Path of Exile 2 is a free to play game. However, there is a confusion which is caused by the packs listed on the shop’s page. You have to pay for them. It is true, but they entitle you to exclusive microtransactions and even physical items on higher tiers. Moreover, thanks to them, you will be able to play the game in Early Access. Yes, the full version is free but to access PoE 2 before others, you have to purchase one of the packages or…

According to PoE 2 FAQ, purchasing the er pack is not the only way to take part in EA. If you have spend 480 USD in lifetime in PoE on one platform, you will be also able the fun sooner. The same goes for people who have bought top-tier er packs in the past.
