Would you like to be sacred? Halloween is a good time for that. NMS developers thought the same and they have launched Expedition 16, The Cursed. Prepare for some anomalies.
It’s hard to tell if interesting rewards for completing it. If you are a new player and would like to start it, we can tell you how to do it. Keep in mind that this event will run for 2 weeks only.

Traditional Way of Starting The Cursed Expedition 16 in NMS
Are you new in the game? Or maybe you want to start from scratch? In that case, the traditional way of starting the game is for you:
- Start the game and click Play or Friends (it doesn’t matter).
- Now, pick New Game from the list.
- Next, look at the lower right corner of the screen. Pick Community Expedition window.
- Begin the game.
New Way of Starting The Cursed Expedition 16 in NMS
We exaggerate with the word “new”. However, it is the recent one, as it was not available from the beginning. Using this method, players can take some technology and resources with them to the new Expedition. However, they have to pay for them with Nanites. Let’s look at the process.
- Enter your main save and travel to Anomaly.
- Interact with Expedition Terminus.
- Prepare a loadout, which you want to use during the Expedition.
- Now, you can start the Expedition. However, keep in mind that you will not have your equipment from the beginning. You will have to visit Anomaly in The Cursed, and of course pay for the items.
