Bugbear Entertainment, the developers of FlatOut series, are working on Stuntfest. This side project emerged from the Next Car Game: Wreckfest tech demo, and is going to be a wacky, physics-based stunt “simulator”. The game will offer truly sandbox gameplay as well as an easy stunt editor for players to create their own crazy tracks, which they will later be able to share with others via Steam Workshop. Here is a trailer for the aforementioned tech demo that laid the foundations for Stuntfest:
Like the previous projects by Bugbear Entertainment, Stuntfest is going to be anything but serious. The game will let you build zany obstacle tracks filled with ramps and platforms, but also giant flush toilets, meat grinders, blenders, or hammers. Using such objects for building your track will result in spectacular ways of destroying your car and other elements of environment – in other words, it’s all about fun destruction. Stuntfest is expected to launch in Steam Early Access this fall, whereas the full version is to come out in 2017. Read more or pre-order on the official website.
