It’s not Twisted Metal or Crossout - it’s a new indie game in the making. Drivers of the Apocalypse is shaping up to be pure vehicular mayhem
Fast cars, big guns, and a brutal wasteland. Drivers of the Apocalypse looks intense!

Indie games really stand out by trying something fresh, mixing familiar mechanics in new ways, like with is still getting more recognition. And it looks like there's another interesting project in the works.
Gear up and drive
Drivers of the Apocalypse is an post-apocalyptic combat game where we’ll take on the role of a tough survivor driving through a wasteland in a powerful, heavily-armed vehicle. We’ll battle rival factions and scavenge for resources to survive.
The game promises to combine fast-paced car combat with exploration, letting us customize our vehicle with all sorts of weapons, armor, and gadgets. The world is an open sandbox, with different biomes and locations to explore, each offering unique challenges, missions, and loot opportunities. While it shares some similarities with Twisted Metal series.
Now for my favorite part – this is a solo dev project from Quantum Break. He also shares videos on YouTube, so we can keep up with how the game is coming together.
You can even spot him in Drivers of the Apocalypse as the owner of Crazy Steve’s Parts shop – because, let’s be real, who wouldn’t want to be in their own game? I know I would! Another intriguing project he’s working on is Echoes of Somewhere, a 2.5D adventure game that experiments with AI-generated content.
