Yesterday's episode of State of Play did not feature many announcements of games from Sony's stable. As a result, some fans are disappointed with the show, even though the company informed in advance what to expect from the presentation.

latest episode of State of Play. After the end of yesterday's presentation many players started to express their disappointment with Sony's presentation in social media.
At first glance, the fans' claims seem justified. Yesterday's State of Play has announced nothing like announced the show at the beginning of the week, it was indicated that we would not receive any news about the PS5. Yesterday's State of Play was to focus on games on the fourth PlayStation and PlayStation VR, as well as games from third-party and independent studios.
As we can see, we're dealing here with a case of overblown expectations running against Sony's announcements and disclaimers. This is not new for this type of show. Fans tend to disbelieve the publishers' assurances, partly right (see Nintendo leaving some surprises at the end of the Nintendo Direct presentation). It also needs to be said that many players have appreciated State of Play. The Hood: Outlaws and Legends. However, let's hope that Sony's next show will have plenty of information about the next generation of PlayStation titles.
