Sloclap started humbly, with unprecedented attention thanks to its very successful beta test that took place in April 2025. After a month, the beta test is back with unwavering interest from players’ side. With numerous people on different platforms, many wonder if the game features crossplay? Also, when it comes to accessibility matters, is there a possibility to rebind keys to personalize the experience a bit more and make it available for wider range of fans? Let’s find out.

Crossplay in ReMatch explained

Soccer or football, as it is called in the ancient land of Albion, is undeniably one of the most popular and common sports on our beautiful blue planet. It already has its well established video game series in the form of UFL, or ReMatch. All of the mentioned titles but ReMatch are grounded in more realistic artistic vision, but the latter takes it to its advantage, allowing for more customization and puts focus on a single player management instead of the whole team. Despite that, it is still a multiplayer production, which you can test with friends. So, one question arises: does beta feature crossplay?

Since ReMatch is available across all of the modern devices like PC, PS5 and Xbox, it is a valid question to ask if it’s possible to play with other fans who use different platforms. As stated by a of the game’s official Discord server, the beta does not feature crossplay. This means that you will be paired only with people using the same device as you do. This is planned to change in the future, when the production is eventually fully released, so it’s best to keep an eye on aforementioned Discord server for news, but also follow Sloclap’s social media s on X, Bluesky, or Instagram.

Is it possible to change keybinds in ReMatch?

Let’s now tackle important aspect for many who would like to customize their controls, but also those who are unable to use the conventional methods of handling input. How does the situation look like when it comes to keybinds change in ReMatch?

The answer, unfortunately, is “not great”. Currently, there are only a couple of presets available that are obviously better than nothing at all, yet there is no freedom whatsoever when it comes to rebinding the control scheme. However, there is “custom” option, yet it is inaccessible at the stage of beta tests of the game.

This is not the whole story, though, as there is a chance that this system will be improved upon full release of the title. Such information can be found on already mentioned ReMatch Discord server. If that feature is important for you, it is a great idea to get there and share your opinion on the appropriate channel. If this feature gains traction, there is a great chance that the developers will prioritize it over other improvements planned to be added to the game.

Hopefully, they will take it seriously, as there are some of us for whom predefined control schemes might be not enough to fully enjoy the experience. Currently, including more flexibility when it comes to redefining input methods should be a standard, and it is especially important, considering how many people are already waiting for ReMatch. Have fun!
