Critics unanimously agree that Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is a well-polished game that offers the best experience of disposing of zombie hordes in a gory manner. The title improves practically all the most important aspects of the original, which hit the market in 2006. The visual design and so-called high-resolution gore elements look great, as promised by the devs, they weren't censored but rather emphasized.
Also praised are the improvements made compared to the version from nearly 20 years ago. The updated controls and camera work aim to provide a more enjoyable and less exasperating gaming experience than in the original Dead Rising. Reviewers particularly appreciate the changes in the behavior of artificial intelligence, as NPCs can act quite sensibly in moments of danger, which makes it easier to complete some missions (and this was often not the case in the original).
It's difficult to find flaws in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, at least according to critics. Some are bothered by the slightly reduced difficulty level, which results from the modern systems introduced by Capcom. However, the remaster seems to be perfect for fans of intense action games, including both long-time brand fans and those who are new to the series.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be released on September 19 on PS5, XSX/S, and PC.
