Corrupted Nexus in PoE2 in an elusive one. It seems that a Citadel scenario is repeating itself
Path of Exile 2 received a major update a few days ago. While players try to figure out novelties one thing seems to be clear – Corrupted Nexus will need to be fixed.
After some time of wait, we are able to enjoy the Citadels at the beginning. Many players report issues with finding them and completing the quest.
Corrupted Nexus in PoE2 explained
Corrupted Nexus is a new location on the Atlas. It is in the center of the Areas of Corruption. In the nodes surrounding it, you have to face powerful monsters. However, upon reaching it, you will be able to cleanse the area. If you manage to do that, you will get Crystalline Shards and obtain Atlas ive Skills thanks to them. Moreover, surrounding tiles will change into unique Cleansed maps on which you will be able to get Fracturing Orb, currency used to fracture a random modifier on a rare item with at least 4 modifiers.
Of course, there is a powerful boss in Corrupted Nexus to deal with first, and you will be able to enter this location only with Waystone with at least 4 modifiers. So, a long way to go. However, all of these obstacles are not as irritating as the problems with finding it at all.

Do you how hard Citadels were to come by at the beginning? It seems that the story is repeating itself but this time with Corrupted Nexus. There are many posts of players who are server issues for example, it will disappear if you were exploring it. Additionally, even if you manage to complete it, there is a chance that you will not get the rewards. It looks like we have to wait for an answer (and probably a patch) from developers.
