Release Date: November 14, 2002
Wrestlers' and wrestlers' struggles in the next installment of the WWE Smackdown series. In six arenas, as one of the 69 world-famous provrestling, you can spread your opponent on blades, chop him up with a chair, and even drop some blood.
A year has ed since Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth came crashing down on PS2, and a lot has changed in the spandex soap opera that is the WWE. Plenty of new faces have entered the fray and made a substantial mark on the fans, whether it be Rey Mysterio Jr and his high-flying luchador acrobatics, John Cena with his hip-hop tomfoolery, or Charlie Hass and Shelton Benjamin, the self-proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team. And, as excellent as SYM's create-a-wrestler mode is, there are certain things that need to be done by the professionals - and WW Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain is the result of their hard work. Don't think that it's merely the same game with a slightly updated roster, though; no, THQ has been far more generous then that.
