A tactical turn-based strategy, focusing on quick battles and largely inspired by the Advance Wars series. In Warside we become a commander and carry out the war campaign using various land, sea and air units. Apart from singleplayer, the game offers various multiplayer modes and a map editor.

Warside is a turn-based tactical strategy game clearly inspired by Advance Wars series, in which we wage a dynamic war using manufactured units. This Kickstarter-backed production was created by the British studio Lavabird.

Gameplay

In Warside we choose one of 12 commanders, each of whom has a unique set of ive attributes and a special combat power. We take part in dynamic battles using infantry, artillery and tanks, as well as fighters and submarines. We also rely on mortars, medical services, and carry out sabotage actions. The front line often shifts due to breakthrough military movements that break the stalemate.

Units are produced in factories and barracks, and their number depends on endurance points. Factions in Warside offer unique units.

The campaign mode, apart from classic battles, includes escort missions, rescue operations and infiltration actions in various natural environments.

Multiplayer and editor

In Warside we can also fight in cross-platform multiplayer mode, including cooperation and PvP. Up to four people can play both online and locally.

We are also allowed to construct our own levels using the built-in map editor.
