Plot

Under takes us on a trip to 1917. The main character of the game is Alexander Dockter, a World War I veteran who returns home aboard an ocean liner. As the ship begins to sink, the protagonist starts a fight for life, facing not only the water breaking into the deck, but also the mysterious creatures that haunt him.

Mechanics

In Under, the action was shown from the first person perspective (FPP). By breaking through the ship's deck, we avoid the water entering it, and try to avoid the terrifying creatures that follow us; although the Dockter's equipment includes a gun, fighting them is the last resort. In order to get out of the oppression, we also have to solve environmental puzzles consisting primarily of looking for specific items (such as keys). By the way, we learn more about the past and the current situation of the main hero.
