A simulation game revolving around trains. In Train Planet we gain access to various types of trains and locomotives, exploring different locations. We can play many roles, including a train driver or a conductor. The game puts heavy focus on maintaining high realism.
Train Planet is a simulation game devoted to trains. The title was developed by the Fishing Planet LLC studio, which also has another (fishing) simulator in its portfolio - the Fishing Planet game.
Train Planet allows us to test ourselves in various roles - from a enger train conductor, through a freight operator and a conservator of historic locomotives, to a train driver. The core of the game are various scenarios and special challenges that test our skills. The whole thing was prepared in such a way that the game would be accessible to beginners, while at the same time being able to meet the expectations of genre veterans.
The game provides us with trains powered by modern, electric locomotives, as well as older models with diesel engines. After choosing our job we travel through real locations, including picturesque landscapes and cities.
Train Planet emphasizes realism. Trains and locomotives were designed with attention to detail. Factors such as the terrain shape and track profiles were taken into . Additionally, the game has implemented a day-night cycle, as well as variable weather conditions, which may affect the train. When controlling a train, we must, among other things, independently adjust the speed and keep an eye on the light signals.
