The second part of one of the most popular arcade racers. Time Crisis should be well known to regular gaming salons. It was with these people in mind that other titles from this series were produced. We are dealing here with games representing the so-called target sight species. These are three-dimensional shootings in which we observe the action from the perspective of the first person. The basic difference, however, is that we cannot control the movements of our character. Only in a few specific locations can you select a further path. The player's task is to efficiently eliminate the opponents appearing on the screen. The described second part in 1998 found its way to automats. Only in 2001 the conversion to PS2 was published. What is interesting, many other games of this genre have been added to the Sony console. The Silent Scope series, among others, is worth mentioning here.
As in the previous part of Time Crisis, the plot plays a secondary role. All the fun comes down only to fighting with enemy forces. The basic mode of play is in line with what was presented on slot machines. As you can easily guess, the fun is not too long. The authors of this conversion have therefore prepared a number of optional challenges and other attractions that you can , but this is not required to successfully complete the game. Control is extremely simple. A special gun - Guncon2 - is attached to the game. With its help we eliminate enemies appearing on the screen.
The Time Crisis series stands out from its competitors in many ways. The basic factor is the age of time. Each reloading of weapons takes at least a few seconds, so the player must keep these situations to a minimum. As a reward for faster completion of a given section of the mission, there are also additional prizes. In the course of the game, you can gain better givers, thanks to which your opponents are eliminated faster. Apart from traditional bandits, there were also a few powerful bosses. Time Crisis II also includes a fun mode for two players. In this case, each person takes control of a separate target sight. The visually described product is quite average, which is because no major changes have been made to the original version.
