The Settlers: Heritage of Kings - Nebula Realm

The story of the first expansion to the fifth part of the famous real-time strategy game series The Settles continues the events featured in the original game. After the victory over the forces of the villainous Kerbaros, a long and peaceful reign of Dario began. However, good things do not last forever and the Old Kingdom again finds itself in danger. Worrying news of a strange mist and shadows come from the West, where a bridge between Dario’s kingdom and Hen Brugh is being built. Moreover, one of Dario’s closest associates gets murdered. It is time to step into action…

The expansion offers a new campaign, as well as maps for both single and multiplayer. You also meet debuting heroes, who help Dario in his quest, as well as new units, e.g. the scout and the thief. One of the most essential skills of the latter is the ability of sneaking into enemy territory and setting explosives to buildings. Nebula Realm adds the option of constructing bridges, which has a significant impact on tactical possibilities of your army (e.g. the supply). The array of available buildings is wider too. The new ones include the tavern, where you recruit the aforementioned thieves and scouts. Moreover, new environments were added, namely wetlands, marshes and heathlands. The list of novelties featured in the expansion is closed by the editor that lets players modify and create their own maps and scenarios.
