Set in the reality of science fiction platformer developed by Over the Moon studio. The Fall was inspired by classic adventure and platform titles and the prose of Russian SF writer Isaac Asimov. The game takes place on a distant planet, where an injured spaceship pilot finds himself. Playing in his spacesuit artificial intelligence, called ARID, we have to save his life and help to survive in a strange and dangerous environment.
Set in a dark, distant sci-fi universe, The Fall is about ARID, an artificial intelligence on-board a futuristic combat suit. One day, she is activated to find that the human pilot of the suit is unconscious and in desperate need of medical help. ARID's directive is clear - take her pilot towards medical attention. However, as she struggles to take control of the suit and help her non-responsive friend, she finds herself in a unique and bizarre situation that will cause her to question her rigid relationship to her various protocols and ultimately her self understanding. The Fall is a unique blend of traditional adventure game puzzles and action, mixed together nicely and set in a world rich with atmosphere. Players of The Fall will find themselves, thinking, exploring, and sometimes fighting with the world and its unusual inhabitants.
- An excellent story - Set in a rich, atmospheric world, that explores interesting ideas surrounding rigidity and protocol.
- A fresh mix of genres - The Fall integrates point and click adventure games, platformers, and shooters into a very unique experience. Drawing equal inspiration from games like Super Metroid and Monkey Island, The Fall is humbly inspired by the greats that came before it.

Game Ratings for The Fall Video Game.
High-Def Digest: 3.5 / 5 by Levi van Tine
'The Fall' is a great story and interesting discussion of synthetic morality, but ironically has some problems with its own mechanical side. It is possible that these issues were caused by the port to the Xbox One, but things like checkpoint saving are fundamental and cannot be overlooked. Regardless, I am happy that Over The Moon is continuing with the series, and hopefully we can expect the second episode before too long.
Twinfinite: 4 / 5 by Matthew Kim
Not since Duncan Jones' Moon have I been this giddy about a science-fiction story that so expertly plays around with the genre, especially in dealing with artificial intelligence. I am in awe and eagerly anticipating the later episodes with much excitement.
PlayStation Universe: 8 / 10 by Steven Williamson
The controls could be more intuitive, as could interacting with objects, but overall The Fall's winning combination of great storyline, well-penned script and impressive game world makes it one of the best indie titles out there.
