Supreme League of Patriots is a humoristic point and click adventure game developed by the independent British No Bull Intentions. Initially, the game has been released on PC / Windows, however, after some time the developers have decided to publish the game on mobile devices.

Plot

In the game, a player assumes the role of an average Joe by the name of Kyle Keever, who since his childhood, has dreamed of becoming a superhero. He decided to get himself into the eliminations for a reality show called America’s Got Superpowers in order to prove he has got all it takes to be a superhero. This is why he assumes a fictional identity of The Purple Patriot and is trying to do anything to get rid of his opposition. When his alter-ego becomes real under unknown circumstances, Kyle acquires superpowers and decides to become the true New York’s superhero fighting for justice on the streets of the metropolis.

Mechanics

The PC and iOS release of Supreme League of Patriots is a humorous point and click adventure game with amusing and cartoonish visuals somewhat resembling those featured in the games of the Sam & Max series. During the game, a player gets to control Kyle and his sarcastic sidekick Mel – the characters switch as the story progresses. The game developed by No Bull Intentions features a peculiar and fussy sense of humor and delivers multiple references to the modern pop culture.

Technical aspects

Supreme League of Patriots for PC and iOS comprises three separate episodes – the first one comes with the purchase of the game, while the other two are sold separately as add-ons. An additional asset of the game is its soundtrack written by Jake Kaufman, who has worked on the audio layer of other games, such as Shovel Knight.

The creators of Supreme League of Patriots for PC and iOS have chosen a peculiar form of promoting their game, by offering a free copy to anyone who bought the PC / Windows version of Batman: Arkham Knight, which was temporarily withdrawn from sale few days after its release, due to the ton of bugs and poor optimization. This marketing campaign formed a kind of protest against discriminating PC gamers.
