A standalone expansion for Stellaris – a 4X strategy game developed by Paradox Interactive. Stellaris: Utopia is an add-on to a 4X strategy game Stellaris released for PC in 2016. This expansion requires the original game to run. Paradox Interactive developed both Utiopia and the original.
Stellaris: Utopia PC for PC offers new ways of expanding your galactic empire and guiding your faction into a bright future.
The add-on features an option of building so-called megastructures, which are huge space objects, such as ring-shaped artificial worlds (like the ones in the Helo series or Ringworld novels) or Dyson spheres, i.e. massive constructions that completely encom stars and harvest all their energy for the benefit of your civilization. Completing such a technological marvel brings huge profits to your faction and boosts its prestigue in the galaxy.
With Stellaris: Utopia you can also construct habitats on the orbits of planets, moons, and asteroids. You can thus build large space stations whose role is similar to that of small planets – simply put, they offer more living space for your community.
Besides, the expansion enriches gameplay with the system of traditions. Players can collect so-called Unity points and introduce new civilizational ideas, which help you expand your empire and grant active bonuses to its development. There is also an option of establishing new laws and granting privileges for individual races. For example, you can decide who will be able to gain full citizenship and who will have to settle for a lower status.

Game Ratings for Stellaris: Utopia Video Game.
Old Man Mordaith: 9.5 / 10 by Joshua Smith
Utopia is being released alongside the Banks update, which adds a great deal of free content to Stellaris. Banks makes the game feels very different, as it adds Traditions and Unity mechanics, changes the way Factions are handled, and provides a complete overhaul of the way governments and ethics are done. It also adds ways to monitor your populace’s ethics and Faction .

DVS Gaming: 9 / 10 by Jens Tjernström
I'm of two minds about Utopia. On one hand I really like that the game has become more complex, more fleshed out as it were, but on the other I think that there isn't actually much new content added in the expansion itself. It has just been shuffled around and gated, extending the game. If you take a look at what Utopia and the Banks patch bring together—the Ascension Perks, Unity, Traditions, reworked government system, Civics, megastructures, species rights, new technologies, balancing, and hundreds of other tweaks—you can definitely see that they were developed as parts of a whole. Paradox just decided not to charge for part of the expansion.
