An expansion for the grand strategy game from Paradox Interactive. Stellaris: Grand Archive is a story add-on, allowing to construct the titular archive and to collect cosmic fauna, artifacts and relics. It also introduces new civics, origins and tradition trees.
Stellaris: Grand Archive is an expansion (or, to be more precise, a story pack) for the space "grand strategy" game from 2016, titled Stellaris. The DLC was prepared by the authors of the base game, namely the Paradox Development Studio team, and the Belgian Abrakam Entertainment.
The biggest novelty introduced in Stellaris: Grand Archive is the titular Great Archive. We are talking about a powerful superstructure, allowing for the assembly of an impressive collection of specimens encoming both living representatives of cosmic fauna and various geological artifacts or relics left by ancient civilizations. A total of 151 samples are waiting to be collected.
Additionally, the DLC allows us to capture space creatures using new technology – gravity traps. It is possible to catch these creatures alive. The specimens we obtain can be cloned and genetically modified to create powerful armies from them.

Just like the basic version of the game, Stellaris: Grand Archive can be played alone or in multiplayer mode over the Internet.
Stellaris: Grand Archive is not a standalone add-on, so it requires the base version of the game Stellaris. Three new music tracks were prepared for this DLC.
