Multiplier FPS designed for virtual reality kits. At the heart of the game are battle royal battles - during the game we find ourselves on a vast island, where we fight for survival with other players until one person remains on the battlefield.
Stand Out: VR Battle Royale is an FPS developed by the independent studio Raptor Lab. The game was created with virtual reality sets in mind, and was released on PC.
In Stand Out: VR Battle Royale we observe the action from FPP. The game adopts the battle royal formula, which gained popularity thanks to the best-selling Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. In the course of the game, thirty players reach an island of four square kilometres, where they fight for survival until only one person remains on the battlefield. The pace of the battle is intensified by the fact that the game area is constantly decreasing, which inevitably leads to more frequent meetings with opponents.
We have an extensive arsenal at our disposal, including, e.g. machine guns and sniper rifles, the skilful use of which is the key to success; knowledge of the map and its nooks and crannies is also indispensable - the battlefield is full of buildings which are potential hiding places. On the island we travel mainly on foot, but to cover bigger distance we can use one of the several vehicles, such as a motorcycle or quad.
Stand Out: VR Battle Royale is designed for multiplayer gameplay - the title does not have a single player mode.
Stand Out: VR Battle Royale requires both virtual reality goggles (enabling us to look around freely) and dedicated motion controllers (thanks to which we can interact with elements of the environment and aim our weapons). Taking into the specificity of the game in question, it can be concluded that its three-dimensional visuals presents a decent level of workmanship.
