Shrek Super Party is a party game, prepared with a view to having fun mainly in multiplayer mode. She was inspired by a computer animation entitled Shrek, which came out of the DreamWorks stables. A large part of the adventures of the green ogre and its companions was created on the basis of the film's prototype.

Four s can simultaneously play one of the six heroes - Shrek, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquaad, Donkey, Monsieur Hood and Thelonius.

Developers offer three game modes - multiplayer boardgame, mini-games and singleleplayer vs. AI. Regardless of whether the s decide to play team games or compete with each other, there are thirty action-charged games available. It is impossible to quote all of them, but they are more interesting: "Riding on barrels in the arena, jumping on the lake's leaves, "shooting" with paint at the windmill's arms or arranging colourful brick blocks according to a specific key.

The virtual environment is almost a full representation of five places known from the film, such as the sunflower field or Monsieur Hood's forest. The game also takes place in the sceneries that do not appear in the original, for example in the sea of clouds, traversed by the heroes on hang gliders. It is worth mentioning that all characters have changed visually. It is subject to significant deformation, as a result of which their small and small bodies are equipped with gigantic heads.
