Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis

Secret Files 2 is a direct sequel to the popular adventure game, Secret Files: Tunguska. Once again we control the actions of Nina Kalenkov and Max Gruber solving strange mysteries and clever puzzles. The game features a classic point-and-click interface, and visuals combining 2D backgrounds with fully-3D elements.

The developers from Fusionsphere Systems have decided to retain the threatening, conspiratorial character of the plot. Recently, most of the world has been experiencing large-scale disasters and calamities. Numerous droughts, floods, volcano eruptions, and civil wars, not to mention the economic crisis - all of them took a terrible toll on the world. Those are the hard times that our characters are living in as we reunite with them. They may have successfully solved the mystery of Tunguska, but their happiness wouldn't last long - Max has a run-in with a mysterious group while exploring ancient Indonesian temples, and Nina, planning a sentimental cruise from to Portugal, witnesses a murder first thing in the Hamburg harbor, before she even has the chance to board her ship. She gets in with David Korell, a mysterious Catholic priest who tries to uncover the secrets of a mysterious, fanatical cult that seems to be in possession of a Medieval manuscript of great importance. The document itself is full of apocalyptic prophecies, and the signs of their advent seem to correspond with the events currently transpiring all over the world. It appears that our characters will have one more dangerous case, full of adventures, secrets, and puzzles, to solve.
