Rise of Industry 2 is the second part of a series of economic strategies launched City of Gangsters.
Rise of Industry 2 takes us to the United States in the 1980s. During the game, we build our own business from scratch. It depends on us what industry we will operate in - we can either open a winery or extract valuable minerals, run a car manufacturing company or an aviation company, or, for example, engage in the production of household appliances and electronics.
Regardless of which industry we choose, all issues related to running the company will rest on our shoulders. The factories, power plants, industrial furnaces or shops we build must be connected by roads - they're used to transport resources and manufactured goods. We must ensure that the production chains are managed in a sensible and efficient way, as well as there's an easy access to all important points on the map. That's not all, because during the game we have to establish global s, ensuring the possibility of importing and exporting various goods and raw materials, as well as maintaining the best possible relations with local authorities.
We can invest the money we earn in the development of our company (including the expansion of infrastructure, work on new technologies and the employment of increasingly specialized employees and managers), as well as in the expansion of the local city (to the delight of our employees and local authorities). When investing, we must pay attention to indicators presenting the financial condition of our company - only by maintaining high profits will we satisfy the management and ensure the ability to continue to control the company.
Rise of Industry 2 offers an extensive campaign in which we face specific challenges in subsequent scenarios. Additionally, a sandbox mode is available, in which no goals or limitations are imposed on us.
