Mechanics

The DLC does not change the game mechanics. Instead, the developers decided to expand the content of the game. The expansion adds a new location to the game - the Swamps of Corsus - and new missions, equipment and enemies (including bosses).

Game modes

Remnant: From the Ashes - Swamps of Corsus introduces a new Survival Mode, maintained in rogue-like convention. It is characterized by a higher level of difficulty - the player starts the adventure with only a gun and some scrap metal. In addition, the player is randomly flipped between equal locations due to damaged World Stones, and the death of the character he is leading is permanent.
