Game mechanics

Regiments is a realistic wargame. The gameplay takes place in real time. The key role is played by such elements as the use of terrain, breaking through enemy defensive lines, or tactical retreats, both real and fake, designed to confuse the enemy.

The scale of battles is large - the player does not give orders to individual soldiers. Instead, he commands whole platoons. When starting a battle, we choose a starting regiment, but we are not limited to these units, because the game allows us to call upon task forces during battles, which have unique equipment and the main forces.

The game lets you control four factions - the Soviet Union, the United States, West and East .

Game modes

Regiments offers only singleplayer mode. Within it, we can play independent battles against AI in three skirmish modes or check ourselves in the dynamic campaign, where the course of the entire conflict is shaped by our and AI's decisions and achievements.

Technical aspects

The game features a fully 3D graphics, whose main advantages are a large scale of battles and realistically reproduced units.
