Recoil is an action game, in which amateurs of multi-tone tanks-bestions will find their dreams come true. Here we are commanding a 100-tonne, electronic stuffed monster called "Battle Force Tank". But that's not all that this machine can inspire respect, because if necessary, it can turn into a stealthy hovercraft, armoured amphibians or underwater boots.

The action of the game takes place in the future of 2018, when mankind absorbed the artificial intelligence and ubiquitous technique created by it itself. One day she took control of people turning them into cyber zombies. Only a handful of people survived, who now as a resistance movement took control of the experimental vehicle described above and with its help try to save the enslaved people.
