Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

On the battlefield, the protagonist not only makes use of melee weapons (sword, spear, axe) and firearms, but can also summon various demons for assistance. Creatures from the afterlife have individual sets of skills, as well as strengths and weaknesses. The key to success is relying on the help of spirits capable of exploiting the weaknesses of our enemies. If we mess up and summon the wrong entity, we may even strengthen our opponent. Additionally, the powers of individual creatures can be combined, creating even more powerful hybrids. The power of demons is not infinite - they draw their strength from bioenergy called Magnetite (MAG). We need to replenish it, taking it from enemies.

This is not the end, as devils come in handy at other moments of the game - from exploration to obtaining valuable information (thanks to the ability to read the thoughts of the characters being interrogated). As we progress, we conquer successive demons, which over time increases our capabilities.

Story

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army takes us to an alternative version of the Japanese capital from the 1930s. The main character of the game is Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, a young assistant to a private detective - Shouhei Narumi. Kaya Daidouji, who comes from a wealthy family, decides to use their services, but she gets kidnapped before she manages to share her problem with the protagonist and his mentor. The girl, however, manages to ask them to... murder her before her sixteenth birthday.

In this way, the intrigue begins, which over time turns out to be of a much larger caliber than it initially seemed. The fate of not only the young heiress, but also the entire city, and even the country, depends on how Raidou handles his mission.

Improvements over the original

Compared to the original, Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army stands out primarily due to its thoroughly refreshed audio-visual presentation. The developers have expanded the list of demons waiting to be captured. They have also focused on the combat system and adapted it to modern standards, made the areas bigger, and also modernized the interface. The cherry on top of all this is the full dubbing.
