A continuation of the bestselling platformer from 1989, which tells a story of the eponymous Prince of Persia, who is trying to save the beautiful Princess from the evil vizier. The action of Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow & The Flame takes place several days after the events of the original game.
Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow & The Flame for PC is a sequel to the two-dimensional action-platformer published in 1989, which acquiring a reputation of an absolute classic firmly established its position in the history of video games. Compared to the original title, the audio and visuals were substantially improved. Also, the game’s environment is much more diverse and the plot is extended. Gameplay, however, is still viewed from the side.
You assume the role of a young Prince of Persia, who once rescued a beautiful Princess from the evil Vizier named Jaffar. The antagonist decides to take revenge on the Prince and steals his identity along with his fiancé. Your objective is to regain the identity and save the Princess from the mortal danger.
In the course of gameplay you visit 15 extensive levels, each characterised by a different design. Apart from armed enemies, you come across a number of traps and logic puzzles. Unlike the original, you can save the game in Prince of Persia 2.
