Police Simulator is an action game simulating the work of a policeman. The title was produced by the development team of Quadriga Games studio. The action of the game was set in a large German city. The creators prepared two variants of the game. The free play mode, in turn, allows you to move around the city and take a variety of actions to maintain order and the rule of law.
In both cases, the gameplay consists primarily in executing orders from superiors and reacting to various types of offenses and unusual situations randomly generated (from a pool of more than 60 scenarios) in the immediate vicinity. The player can take care of e.g. speedcam service, chasing road pirates, controlling vehicles, catching bullets, legitimizing suspects or searching for missing persons. Activities often require the use of appropriate tools, e.g. a gun, batons or handcuffs.
The audio-visual setting of the Police Simulator stands out against the background of contemporary productions. Developers have taken care of a large game area and details such as changing day and night time cycles, but the quality of workmanship of character models, vehicles and objects, as well as the smoothness of animation clearly indicate the low-budget character of the title.
