A platforming adventure game, designed exclusively for coop (local or online). Out of Words features Kurt and Karla as the protagonists without their voices. They end up in the land called Vokabulantis, trying to recover the ability to speak and also to save the kingdom.
Out of Words is a platforming game with significant adventure elements, designed for cooperative gameplay. The game was developed by Kong Orange and Wired Fly studios, and it was based on the idea of poet Morten Sondergaard.
In Out of Words we watch the action from the side. The adventure leads us through the clay towers of Nounberg or the ancient catacombs. Exploring Vokabulantis, we jump on platforms, avoid traps and terrain obstacles, as well as solve environmental puzzles (including those based on physics).
The key to success in the game is the cooperation with another person. We also need to demonstrate agility and reflexes, and stimulate our gray cells from time to time.
We can play Out of Words only in a cooperative multiplayer, either over the Internet or on a shared screen. The game offers cross-play functionality, thanks to which owners of versions on different platforms can play together.
Out of Words takes us to the fantasy kingdom of Vokabulantis, which is a land of words. The main playable protagonists are Kurt and Karla, who end up here with the task of saving this land and regaining their voices. On the way, the bond connecting the main characters tightens, gradually turning into love.
A distinctive feature of Out of Words is its graphic design, which uses hand-made character models, set in motion using frame-by-frame animation.
