Alpha Zylon is a response of Team6 developers to the popularity of games such as Far Cry or Soldier of Fortune 2. The creators of Alpha Zylon have also been clearly inspired by classic action cinema titles such as the cult Commando and Rambo.

In the course of the game, the player directs the actions of a well-trained commander, who is sent to particularly dangerous missions, requiring precision and deadly effectiveness. The game is divided into six missions in three environments. In the jungle, the hero fights the ruthless leader of the drug cartel, El Ocin. In the city must stop the dangerous gang of thieves-choolers. In the desert, on the other hand, it is intended to undermine the plans of Middle Eastern terrorists with modern biological weapons.

During the mission, the commando can use a knife, pistol, machine gun, sniper and large calibre weapon. Most of the action is shown from the perspective of a third person, but some tasks require the use of a sniper rifle telescope, which is a substitute for FPP (first-person perspective).

The Alpha Zylon audio-visual luminaire clearly indicates a low-budget product category. Graphics in the game more clearly differs from modern standards, and the quality of 3D animation of character and object models leaves a lot to be desired.
