MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore for PC, PS4 and XONE is an arcade dirt bike racing game. Similar to the original game (2014), MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore was created by Nordic Games and offers a series of improvements introduced since the original release.
Mechanics
Motorcycle racing is the core element of the game – this takes place on adequately prepared tracks filled with obstacles and jumps typical for such events. The game can be enjoyed in the career mode consisting of several series, as well as in the freeride and multiplayer (up to 12 players in a session) modes. Also, the game features a split-screen mode for two players and the Waypoint mode, in which, the riders have to reach a series of specified points in an open environment.
The game features 80 real motocross companies. The players can play the part of one of over 60 professional contestants that race on about 30 different tracks. Also, new modes were added and these are Open World Waypoint Racing and Rhythm Racing. In the latter, the contestants race on a straight track filled with bumps and different obstacles.
Technical aspects
MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore for PC, PS4 and XONE brings adequate improvements in of the visuals. As a result, the player will find here upgraded models and higher-resolution textures. The audio was improved as well, because new environmental sound effects were added, apart from the interface which works more fluently now.
