Miner Warfare is an arcade game designed for up to 8 players in multiplayer mode. The participants play the role of warrior miners and their task is to find and extract as much gold as possible. The title was produced by independent studios HeartBit Interactive and The Benjamin Ficus Production.
Miner Warfare is a proposal of independent studios HeartBit Interactive and The Benjamin Ficus Production addressed to fans of arcade competition with friends. The production is characterized by extremely simple gameplay mechanics and minimalistic audiovisuals.
The game is devoid of plot. Instead, players control the actions of colorful miners, who dig through the ground and try to find gold lumps. The players can achieve their goal by using various means.
The gameplay is focused on dynamic competition with real players. A maximum of 8 players can participate in the tournament on 10 different maps. Interestingly, in the case of gamepad controls, it is possible to have two people playing on a single controller. Miners can kill their enemies by using 28 weapons, including rifles, bombs and rocket launchers.
The audiovisuals of Miner Wars refer to the 8- and 16-bit era. 2D graphics are characterized by a very limited color palette and simple animations. The game also has catchy background music.
