Set in a fantasy world inspired by Tim Burton’s works, MediEvil for PS4 is an adventure action title with hack’n’slash elements. The production, which was announced in December 2017 during the PlayStation Experience event, was developed by Sony’s subsidiary studio. MediEvil is a major remake of the original game from 1998, released for the original PlayStation. The refreshed game offers new graphics and numerous improvements of the mechanics. The main hero – Sir Daniel Fortesque – is a sloppy skeleton who is trying to defend his kingdom Gallowmere from an evil sorcerer named Zarok.

The MediEvil Guide is an extensive walkthrough that will guide you through all levels. It also describes the control systems and lists all weapons available in the game. There are some starting tips for new players, too.
Andrew Barnabas, composer of game music from the MediEvil series, has published several tweets which suggest that the remake of the first part sold better than anticipated. In his opinion, the creation of a refreshed version of the second game is not impossible, although no decisions have been made yet.

During the State of Play stream, a demo of MediEvil, a remake of a popular action game from 1998 developed by Other Ocean Interactive, was announced. It should appear on PlayStation Store within a few hours and will only appear on PlayStation 4 on October 25.
