The second installment in a series of tactical RPGs in which heroes of popular brands from Nintendo and Ubisoft meet. In Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope heroes explore the galaxy and release the Sparks, which in return endow them with a variety of abilities.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is the second installment of a series of tactical RPGs, which are crossovers of two popular brands - Rabbids - launched in 2017. The game was developed by Ubisoft, in cooperation with Nintendo.
In Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Cursa Peach, Cursa Luigi and their friends must forces to face a new threat together. The evil Cursa intends to devour all the titular creatures, the Sparks, to gain unimaginable power. To prevent him from doing so, the protagonists embark on a long and dangerous journey across the galaxy, where truly cosmic adventures await them.
In Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope we have nine characters at our disposal. We control a team of three, which travels through various planets and performs the tasks set before them. As the heroes progress, they release the Sparks, which in return endow them with unique abilities, especially useful on the battlefield.
On the way our heroes face numerous enemies, both the ones known from the first part of the series and completely new ones, including powerful bosses. Battles once again take place in turn-based mode (while exploration still takes place in real time), but is different in comparison to classic games of the genre. The combat system combines the freedom of movement with the need to make tactical decisions, so during battles we have to not only skillfully use the abilities of individual characters, but also properly place them on the arena. Thanks to this, when necessary, they can hide behind covers, jump on enemies' heads or kill dying adversaries.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope features high quality graphics. The whole game is kept in the colourful, eye-catching style known from the first part of the series.
In Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope you can only play solo. The developers have not included any multiplayer modes.
