The third part of the dynamic action game. This time we operate in Iran. We have two team to choose from - a heavy weapon expert and a sniper. You can switch between these characters at will.
The third edition of the series started in 2003. Once again we are dealing with a rather standard low-budget shooter, but placing more emphasis on showing the activities carried out by the selection shooter. However, the game is far from the level of complexity presented by Sniper Elite, for example. The described product resembles more dynamic shooters, such as the Call of Duty series. The game preparation is once again the responsibility of Groove Games studio. The company has also released shooters such as Warpath and Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green. Marine Sharpshooter III was released only on personal computers. It is also worth mentioning that the manufacturer did not foresee any network modes. The focus was solely on the development of a single player campaign.
The area of our activities in the latest version of the Marine Sharpshooter series is Iran. We are sent with the task of stopping Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is secretly involved in both arming nuclear warheads and ing local terrorist groups. As you can easily guess, most levels are based entirely on the mass extermination of enemies you meet. The levels in the Marine Sharpshooter have been constructed based on a rather proven scheme. So we follow the path set by the manufacturers. Only in a few places it is necessary to find a better hidden age, or to return for some necessary object to the locations already examined earlier.
Each mission is ed by two characters, and the other soldier is always controlled by artificial intelligence. However, you can switch between these heroes at will. The team consists of a soldier equipped with a classic machine gun and an elite sniper. In the latter case, of course, the well illustrated effect of using a telescope was taken care of. As far as the missions themselves are concerned, they may be based on the need to examine a territory designated by the command or to dismantle a specific terrorist. Visually, Marine Sharpshooter III has a maximum average level of performance. The stages are quite monotonous and the fighting characters are poorly animated. The action is shown, of course, from the perspective of the first person (FPP).
