Liga Polska Manager '97 is the second installment of a football manager, set in the realities of the domestic football league and started in 1995 by 18-year-old Rafal Cymerman. This time MarkSoft engaged a completely new creator with a little more experience to work on the game, which was Mariusz Trzaska.

Just like in the original, in the game we have the opportunity to lead any of the football clubs from the I, II or III league. The original teams come from the end of the autumn round of the 96/97 season. The mechanics of the game resembles the first installment of the series, and the role of the player as a team manager is limited to taking care of all aspects of the field (such as the acquisition and sale of players or the setting of training and tactics for subsequent matches), as well as financial (i.e. setting ticket prices, g advertising and TV contracts or stadium expansion).
