Traveller’s Tales Studios used The Incredibles movie license to create another action platform LEGO game. The title is similar to previous LEGO games, enabling the players to enjoy it alone or in cooperation with up to three friends.
LEGO The Incredibles is the next entry in the series of action platform games developed by Traveller’s Tales. The title was based on The Incredibles movie series. It was published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.
The story presented in LEGO The Incredibles loosely follows the events presented in the movie. During the game, the players assume the role of heroes known from the silver screen (mostly Mister Incredible and his family, although other characters are playable as well) who must face the evil Syndrome. The antagonist intends to destroy all superheroes.
The gameplay in LEGO The Incredibles is based on ideas from previous LEGO games. During the game, the players are traveling through locations known from the movie, fighting encountered enemies (by using unique abilities of characters) and solving not very complicated riddles.
Similarly to previous games in the LEGO series, LEGO The Incredibles can be played alone or in multiplayer mode for up to four players.
The three-dimensional graphics of LEGO The Incredibles are of decent quality. Their style resembles the movie the game is based on.

LEGO The Incredibles is exactly the kind of inoffensive and family-friendly action adventure fun you'd expect from a TT Games offering. You're better off watching the film before you buy as it'll ruin the plot without a second thought, but with its activity-filled sandbox and the usual mix of platforming and puzzle-solving, it's an ideal way to keep younger fans happy once they leave the cinema. You just can't help but shake the feeling this should have been a LEGO Dimensions level pack rather than a full-game.

While almost every LEGO game has included some sort of new mechanic to differentiate itself in some way, LEGO The Incredibles just feels like it's going through the motions. The formula is wearing mighty thin, and is the least inventive, most unexciting LEGO game in ages. Still, it's a decent kid's game, with plenty of family-friendly fun to be had.
