Brawler with platform game elements, bringing to mind Super Smash Bros. series. In Lego Brawls we take part in fierce fights on various arenas, battling for victory as characters from the title bricks.
LEGO Brawls is a brawler with platform game elements, designed mainly for multiplayer action. It was developed by Red Games studio and published by LEGO Games.
At first glance the gameplay in LEGO Brawls brings to mind the Super Smash Bros. series, popular on Nintendo platforms. The action takes place in multi-level arenas presented from the side. Depending on the selected mode, two teams (up to four players) or single players (each of whom fights for himself) face each other and try to eliminate opponents or take control over the arena.
Fights take place in a variety of locations characteristic for each LEGO series. You can find here, among others, a medieval castle, a pirate's cove, the Wild West and the marshy caves of LEGO Ninjago. In the arenas there are boxes containing various power-ups, such as healing items or weapons, which if used skillfully can tip the balance of victory on our side.
Before starting the game, it allows us to create our own warrior from scratch; we can decide on his appearance or preferred weapon, and thus - the fighting style. As we progress, we unlock a variety of cosmetic add-ons that allow us to better customize the character to our individual preferences.
In LEGO Brawls you can play solo, but the game was designed with multiplayer mode for up to eight players in mind. The game also has cross-platform features.
LEGO Brawls features colorful and eye-pleasing graphics, which in of quality and style do not differ from what we are used to from other LEGO projects.

Game Ratings for LEGO Brawls Video Game.
ComingSoon.net: 6 / 10 by Tyler Treese
Once the Lego charm expires, you’re left with a console game that requires a lot more of a financial investment than free-to-play titles that have significantly more content. And as such, Lego Brawls is stuck in a strange space where it can’t quite reach its intended audience.
Impulsegamer: 3.5 / 5 by Andrew Bistak
LEGO Brawls is simple fun that is best played together locally. Kids will enjoy the LEGO themed characters and environments (Ninjago, Monkie Kid, Jurassic World, Pirate, Western, Vidiyo, Hidden Side, Space, Castle, Alien Conquest) as they battle each other to victory via brick brawling!
MKAU Gaming: 4 / 10 by Sammy Hanson
LEGO Brawls was initially designed as a mobile game and can be an enjoyable way to kill some time playing online matches. As a console game that doesn’t add anything new to the gameplay, it’s just a generic platform fighter with little to no excitement. This wouldn’t be a bad thing if the game was cheap or just free, but it’s shockingly priced at $60 AUD which makes it impossible to justify. There are tons of indie games out there that offer so much more at a cheaper price. Even with some interesting ideas, LEGO Brawls offers very little and is probably more fun to watch than play, but the novelty wears off really quickly. The biggest letdown overall is its generic gameplay that just isn’t much fun at all. Non-fighting game players often describe the genre as button mashers, and this game accurately fits that description and is a poor representation of the genre. Even stepping on a LEGO piece is more entertaining than this.
