Release Date: March 31, 1999
The third part of the series of roleplaying games by Westwood studio. We return to the kingdom of Gladstone. We play the role of heir to the throne, who must regain his own soul. As heir to the throne will regain his own soul. By blocking one of the four or all four guilds we can become a warrior, mage, cleric and thief.
Lands of Lore meets with very positive reception from the fans of the cRPG genre. Interesting intrigue surrounding the kingdom of Gladstone, comfortable interface and decent graphics are only a few things that were true of that title. Alas, the third installment in the series is a disappointing one. We go back to the aforementioned kingdom, this time as an heir to its throne whose task is to regain his own soul. As befits the cRPG genre, we may select the class of our character. By becoming a member of one of the four guilds, you may become a warrior, a mage, a cleric or a thief. In total, there are 15 different character combinations to create. We have over 100 magic spells at our disposal that may come in handy at numerous occasions. There are many new locations for us to visit, where we will face various monsters. The thing that is especially noticeable are poor graphics that are nowhere near the today’s standards.
